Dr. Joseph Gitto

Dr. Joseph Gitto is a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Atlantic City High School, Glassboro State College and, in 1988, Life Chiropractic College of Georgia. Dr. Gitto entered private practice in South Jersey in 1989.

Since 1989, Dr. Gitto has helped thousands of restore and maintain health and active healthy lifestyle.

A firm believer in preventative-wellness care and the incredible healing power of the body, Dr. Gitto, with over 30 years of alternative health care experience, constantly strives to improve his knowledge in the field of Chiropractic, Functional Medicine, Clinical and Diagnostic Nutrition.

Post graduate courses include highly developed Chiropractic techniques, hundreds of hours of special training in Functional Medicine, Clinical and Diagnostic Nutrition, cold laser therapy, enhanced sports performance and accelerated injury repair, sports and deep tissue massage, spinal and extremity rehabilitation, strengthening and stretching techniques, orthotic evaluation, trigger point therapy, pediatrics, scoliosis, disc disorders, arthritis, postural correction, and gentle light force techniques. He obtained advanced training in scoliosis correction by The International Scoliosis Research Center. Dr. Gitto is one of the selected few who are certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, trained in the Kalish Method and Functional Fitness.

Dr. Gitto has been honored with awards from the Chiropractic profession and has lectured extensively throughout the community in various businesses, civic organizations, sporting events, radio talk shows, schools and to the Chiropractic profession. He has served on the staff of the Atlantic City Seagulls professional basketball team as their Chiropractor and assisted numerous professional and amateur athletes in achieving peak performance. He has been Back Pack Safety America's regional representative, bringing this important program to our school systems. Dr. Gitto holds ongoing health and wellness seminars at his Northfield office.
